InfoareaInfo Area is nothing but a folder to store your objects.
Infoobject : Business evaluation objects are known in BI as InfoObjects. They are divide into characteristics,key figures , units , time characteristics and technical characteristics are the smallest units of BI. Using Info Objects, information is mapped in a structured form.


Data source: Can be a sap or non sap source of data. It provides data in a flat file structure


Process chain : A process chain is a sequence of processes that are scheduled to wait in the background for an event. Some of these processes trigger a separate event that can, in turn, start other processes.


Staging engine : Persistent staging area –It is temporary area where the imported data from data source is held before modeling or transformation
Admin work bench is a tool which helps in initiating data extraction, transformation & loading


Infocube is set of relational tables with the fact table in the center and surrounded by other dimensional tables
DSOADataStore object serves as a storage location for consolidated and cleansed transaction data or master data on a document level. This data can be evaluated using a BEx query
